How to Backing up files in CWPpro

Here’s a step-by-step guide for a web user to create a backup of their files and databases:

1. Access CWPpro User Panel

  1. Open your web browser and log in to the CWPpro User Panel.
  2. The URL is usually something like https://your-server-ip:2083 for the user panel.

2. Navigate to the Backup Section

  1. Once logged in, go to the File Management section.
  2. Click on Backups.

3. Create a Backup

  1. In the Backups section, you will see options for creating backups.
  2. Click on New Backup.

4. Select Backup Type

  1. Full Backup: This option will back up all your files, email accounts, and databases.
  2. Home Directory Backup: This option will back up all the files in your home directory.
  3. Database Backup: This option allows you to select and back up specific databases.

5. Start the Backup Process

  1. Choose the type of backup you need.
  2. Click on the Create Backup button.
  3. Wait for the backup process to complete. You may see a progress bar or a notification once the backup is finished.

6. Download Backup Files

  1. Once the backup is complete, you can download the backup files to your local machine for safekeeping.
  2. Click on the backup file listed in the Backups section.
  3. Download the file to your computer.
